Why Your Partnership Matters
People gather around great entertainment. They enjoy an evening out, reconnect with friends and family, and experience everything our area has to offer.
Cambridge has always drawn national talent.
The Mid-Shore has long supported concerts, festivals, and exceptional entertainment. Mid-Shore Productions was created to build on that foundation with professionally produced concerts and memorable music experiences.
George Jones performed at Sailwinds Park. So did Dwight Yoakam, Lorrie Morgan, Lee Ann Womack, Little River Band, Steppenwolf, Bobby Blue Bland, Lou Gramm of Foreigner, and Tanya Tucker, among others.
Cambridge also welcomed Ella Fitzgerald, James Brown, Little Richard, Fats Domino, and many more, from the 1930s to 2019. But the venue behind those shows was demolished in 2018, and Cambridge hasn't had a stage built for this caliber of act since. Mid-Shore Productions is bringing that legacy back.

Why Music Experiences Matter
Communities across the country continue to invest in concerts, performing arts, and music experiences because they bring people together, create lasting memories, and contribute to vibrant local communities. Venues and events such as the Avalon Theatre in Easton, Cult Classic Brewing in Stevensville, the Freeman Arts Pavilion in Selbyville, and both Oceans Calling and Country Calling Festivals in Ocean City, demonstrate the strong and growing demand for quality entertainment throughout our region.
- A $100 concert ticket from an out-of-town visitor generates up to $350 in additional local spending at restaurants, retail, hotels, fuel, and other businesses.
- Independent live music generated $153.1 billion in total economic output in the United States during 2024, surpassing airline, gaming, and beer industries.
- The live music industry supports 908,000 jobs and generates $19.3 billion in annual tax revenue
- The inaugural 2 day Country Calling Festival welcomed approximately 55,000 attendees and generated an estimated $40 to $50 million in economic impact for the Ocean City area. The Oceans Calling Festivals have similarly contributed to the Ocean City Economy
- The Freeman Arts Pavilion is currently expanding with a $40 million permanent venue, reflecting continued investment in live entertainment across the Delmarva region.
These examples demonstrate the long term strength of professionally produced concerts and the continued demand for memorable music experiences in communities of every size.
With more than three decades of experience producing, promoting, marketing, and supporting events, we believe the Mid-Shore is well positioned to continue building on that foundation.
Mid-Shore Productions was created to produce memorable concerts and music experiences while building lasting partnerships with businesses, sponsors, artists, venues, and audiences.
Cambridge has a remarkable entertainment history. Mid-Shore Productions is proud to build on that foundation by creating memorable concerts, music experiences, and professionally produced events.
